Life Lesson
A part of me is slowly dying What's the point? There's no use trying What's done is done, it's in the past The future is bright, I hope it lasts I fooled myself into believing in you I remember all the bad stuff you put me through The never knowing where I stand All the pain I suffered from your hand And after all this I can't stay mad I'm so pathetic it makes me sad People look to me for strength and know thanks to you, I can't walk that length It's a pain that I feel deep within my heart My hope and my faith have been wrenched apart Our relationship was one big lie Sometimes I think I just wanna die My heart was broken, destroyed by you You are beyond forgiveness I hope I broke yours too I loved you but you never loved me in return This is just one life lesson that took awhile for me to learn As you can probaly tell I was kinda in the angry/hateful stage of heartbreak so its kinda depressing but I will definately never forget my first love and a very important lesson in life :)
