Stormy Weather
When the rain beats down and thunder roars, Lightning flashes and the wind soars, When we all fear we are going to blow away, Just think of your God and let your spirit be gay. I love storms-lightning and thunder and such- Then I can watch out the window as I think how much The branches are swaying with leaves floating down, I think of all that raking ,and then I just frown. But raking leaves and filling baskets isn't so bad-- Unless I had plans-then I'll get mad, Because I love those darn storms so well, I think I'll go out and ring a bell. Well darlings, it's been a rainy, rainy afternoon, If it wasn't for this computer I'd be cleaning my room, But who wants to clean when other things are around?? So I'll just creep on out without making a sound.
