Opportunity and Chance
You are the person that gives us choice. A person that has a familiar voice. You're there when we feel both smart and dumb. We know not who you are, or where you come from. We may unknowingly see you several times and not say hi. Later we realize we saw you and regret passing you by. You sound like a guardian angel, but your not. Because a guardian angel can't be seen or caught. If you're in our lives, and then leave us with 'what ifs'?. Then we lost out and didn't see your silent gifts. You say you contemplate the heavens and whats out there. So you are something we all have and share. Every once and a while it comes into our lives, but its gone just as quickly as it arrives. You present us with something right in front of our faces. Then you disappear and vanish, into the unknown spaces. You are not a person or even an object, your inanimate. You try to push us, never letting our lives become a contaminant. . So you always give us these things to try and help us advance. Now, I could be wrong, but I think you are opportunity and chance. ***For Paula Swanson's contest, “Who am I?”
