The Electric Vortex
Laughing as eternals playmates Hovering outside the vortex of time Like youngsters contemplating a roller coaster With only the thrill of getting in line Carefree glances at each other The lazy edge of this whirlpool We joyfully allow the undertow To sling us in full throttle With screams of exhilaration All things known now never were And we corkscrew at light speed Along the electric rope of this cylinder Souls roaring with abundance Knowing exactly who we are Not one thought of limitations Now to a new and random star As we pull back the throttle Feeling the density increase Approaching a new big, blue world And we prepare for reentry I look into her beautiful eyes As we descend both smiling Ready to take another ride To overcome fears of infinity
