Sixty Minutes
Sixty minutes to make peace, not much time in the scheme of things. To ask forgiveness for all I've done, seems I shouldn't have tempted fate in the first place. I never should have taken the path, that leads to remorse and I'm sorry's. I just should have listened to my little voice. The Angel that tried to guide me. Perhaps I wouldn't be here at this moment, facing my mortality. The what if's can fry the mind. But just one might have saved me. I leaned upon the tale I'd been told, that forgiveness is but a prayer away. But, when you have just thirty minutes left, you realize it's too late. I am luckier than some, I guess. That had the end happen in a blink. Never knowing, nor having the chance, to ask for their soul to be saved. With just thirty seconds, not much time for lengthy pleas. So I will just ask you to hear my last two words.. "Forgive me" For the contest: MY Last Hour Sponsored by Robb A. Kopp
