Just treat others as you would be, And your enemies will soon see, All their efforts at discourse have come undone; For their lies will come to nothing, If you make sure they see something, In your life that gives you peace no matter what, And they will want it too, Some may come and talk to you, To find out just what it is they haven't got; For the Lord will be your shelteer, Through the storms of life, a smelter, And you'll come through it all as purest gold.
