Naval Babe
Twitching nose the grass tickles her chin her dimpled chin Watching the sand flirt upon her hair and remove it still as she sleeps Just watch and tickle her yet And see the tone the skin the colour Tanned and white with lace and drips of likened beads on iced bottled beer The sun beats hard upon this isolated pocket dune with distant shouts and kites But to close your eyes again and believe she is not there and my great Luck Turn and open and look It's true this beauty is still there. Drape my arm across her naval and flex the neck to rid the itch but hold on gently Tartan rug of child hood days lies there beneath us both Don't let it ride and deliver sand into her watch or fruits she has cut The heat the sweat the music my back is under done Closing my eyes again Oh! my work, my boss; the sea roars. Forget them quickly Green cactus cream to rub again on her and protect her precious skin My face a towel draped protects my eyes a bit longer while she gently sleeps Will she still be there if I look beneath this towel or will I imagine the Mall again Hoping then choosing either strawberries or to ask this fair lady out I looked. No she's still there.Thank God. Again I make a move and drape my hand across her naval once more. I close my eyes again to imagine my untold luck and see a Lighthouse Fog and cables and white visions and shadows over me. Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! She shouts. What happened! What happened ! You are snoring on this gorgeous day and giving me no attention what so ever and beside you'll be late for work.
