A small grey kitty visits him through sunroom glass door every day. After she cleans her plate she stays to bat at him as if to say I know you have it nice and warm. Your meal is a meow away. I’d like to join you but I fear all human kind, so I’m a stray. I try my best to coax her in that she might live in luxury too. My slightest move sends her away and there is nothing I can do. Raccoons and possums come to call. He watches as they find her dish. Perhaps he’d like to join them there, but I’m afraid to grant his wish. In the big world, danger abounds.
