Evil Banker
*This is my very first poem* The “Evil” Banker They chose to participate in the game of monopoly… They now chant “Ohh, poor me, why must this be?”… The same ones now insist… “Government…set me free.” They wished to play with the “evil” bankers… They now blame their misery on Citi, Chase and other banks… The same ones now cry… “Those demons left me eating Ramen and franks.” They made the very foolish decision… To purchase Pacific Avenue, Marvin Gardens, or Park Place When they should have thought practically, realizing Connecticut or Baltic Avenue would have filled the space They hurried to cash out their very own fortress … They now call the banker “punk” But never thought twice while buying 60” HDTVs, 1000 gig ipods and other useless junk So, to those who chose to battle with the banker, remember… No one forced you to sign away your glorified trailer Take responsibility for yourselves and Stop crying about it three years later
