He Knew Every Thought
He knew every thoought I had that day. He knew my heart in every way. He knew the pain and sadness that had come to stay. It was the anniversary of our wedding day. The burdens we carried for those who had passed away. By noon the word came in, another friend's journey was now comlplete. l The test were in another battle to begin. In the presence of sorrow, many things were said. I went for a walk just to clear my head. I needed to calm my heart it was aching so. I hurt so deep inside;the wods I had said hand hurt him so. What he had said hurt me to my very soul. My tears came down like rain that day. If I could not reach him;what then was to live for? I was so far from his heart, alone and afraid. I stood in the cover of a church;there was darkness all around. The thoughts in my head brought shame to my soul. From somewhere deep in my soul a thought rang loud and clear. The thoughts in my head were selfish and mean. What would they do if I did this thing? What would they face if I had done this disgrace? In a moment of weakness,he had kept me strong. I could have punished them all if I had done this thing. He knew my every thought right or wrong. He held me in his arms, sent me my son. He guided me home where love foound me again. I thanked God,he knew my every thought that day. He knew what lied deep in my heart and held me tight. In his arms he gave me the wisdon to know right from wrong. I will always remember he knows my every thought. He holds every heart in the palms of his hands. No matter what you think,or what you do, God knows every thought before you do. Lady Patricia Edwards
