One Wish Contest
If I had one wish what would it be? Well what would make me happy? There is just so much to choose from. Maybe its a king I'll become. No, I wouldn't look right on the throne. Perhaps I should think of someone other than my own. What is something I wish someone had? Then I instantly thought of my dad. Now I know this saying is a cliché, but he really is the best dad in every way. The life that was chosen for him is very hard. When life was being dealt, he didn't even get a card. He worked tirelessly for so many years for us all, and never asks for anything, not even something small. So if I had one wish what would it be? For my dad to be happy, and I pray to be half the father to my kids that he was to me. Yes I wish to be just half the man he was, I would be great, just like everything he is and does. ~Chris Matt for my father Michael Matt
