Stepping out on the porch to feel, God’s beauty that surrounds, With everything that is real, And natures beautiful sounds. With a soft, gentle breeze, As an occasional wind blows, Birds gathering in the trees, As the setting Sun glows. Chirping of birds and a buzzing bee, A passing plane in the sky, Children laughing so joyfully, From a park that’s close by. The barking of dogs far away, A few still mowing their lawn, Ending another summer day, Preparing for the next break of dawn.
