Always
It's not something that I'm used to, the look that you give me, the admiration that is in your eyes. When you look at me as if I'm the center of your world, tears build in my eyes, threatening to fall down my face. When you look at me the way that you do, my breath catches in my throat, and my heart starts to pound. The words that I long to say, are lost with my strangled sobbing, I am unable to speak so I burry my head in your chest. When I finally speak I tell you, "You are the only guy that I have ever dated, who will give me everything that I want, and expect nothing from me in return." My body starts to shake, as my sobs steadilly increase, you hold on to me tightly until my tears subside. I then move away from you, and wipe my tear stained face, looking at your drenched shirt as a small smirk forms on my lips. It was in that moment, that you lifted my chin, looked at me and spoke softly. "You're wrong about one thing. I do expect something from you, and that's for you to love me." The tears reform as I clasp my hands over my mouth, I cannot speak, I cannot breath, I can only cry the happy tears that come in a rush to my eyes. You apologize for once again making me cry, and you pull me close, holding me in your arms. I take a deep breath, just enough to whisper, only loud enough for you to hear me say, "Always"
