In This Box
In this box (that I hold tightly against my body, afraid it might slip away the next time I fall six sides so easy to examine to carry to show to anyone who will stop for just a moment so simple; there are no secrets nothing that cannot be explained) we say is the being that spoke life— who surrounds everything, is infinitely bigger than anything that has ever claimed hugeness than all things that have ever been (back to before the first man smiled at the first woman) and will be (until time stops and we spin in the glow of an eternal smile) than existence. It is any wonder that (as we come with our nice neat list of the contents of our sacred cube) no one will listen to our proclamations of salvation? After all, who was ever saved by something smaller than herself? So small, it fits directing into our hearts and goes no further.
