Shallow Breath
We promised our solemn hearts, even as our life departs. Our smiles are half dead, no matter what is said. I hear the broken song, playing through every wrong. I live my life in misery, no breath left inside of me. Say goodnight my beautiful one, arise to the heart warming sun. So here I am one last time, writing for you one last rhyme. You tried to stay, yet I move away. You couldn't come along, though I'd be away for so long. Hearing your shallow breath, I could finally accept death. Heaven is waiting for you, you know my darling it is true. I know I can't follow, therefor my heart's left hollow. I guess this is how it goes, so I leave you one last rose. Farewell my love, shall you watch from above? You'd call me whenever, you need love forever. Each time I leave, do you still believe? I want to stay by your side, yet this fate I must abide. Should this come crashing down, and leave me to drown? Forever has no end, not for us beloved friend.
