Kiss Goodbye
How could I forget, how your sweet voice sounds? In my regret, I've gone and hit the ground. Why not one more night, one last kiss goodbye? I give up this fight, yet I cannot die. Do the stars still shine, as bright as your heart? I've called you mine, since the willful start. Tell me why, I can't forget our love. With my last sigh, 'tis the end I dream of. My sweet love has gone, away from my sight. I'll not carry on, I'll not lose your fight. I cannot stay, yet I cannot leave. Everything is okay, as long as you believe. Goodbye young wife, as you're left to die. I'll succumb to life, as you've left me to cry. Does the night, captivate our every passionate kiss? Still you fight, until the world's amiss. I hope the stars, spell out your name. We'll bury the scars, and forget our shame. The falling moon, opens up our closed eyes. We'll leave soon, just let me hear their cries. The angel from my nightmare, has shown me the way. Though this life hasn't been fair, I'll choose to stay. During our last night, we'll wish this never ends. The sky so bright, reveals our true friends. The darkness continues to creep, haunting every time. You'll continue to weep, at every solemn rhyme. No I don't want to die, no not tonight. Together we'll lie, just under the light. Will I be the first, to begin our fall? As the fallen stars burst, who shall heed our warning call? Am I your anything, in your final cry? Together we'll sing, together we'll die. Why not one more night, one last kiss goodbye?
