Lady of the Night
Reveries, rain and stormy nights Greying hues of poignant plights Chocolate wraps like sweet caress, Kiss the corners of my mess Peeping stars from the veil above My me, in me was still in love.. Lazy, Hurt, Lazily Hurt. My boisterous soul had been wounded. Beneath the shadow of my pain, Were leaned and tangled amongst themselves The Dark Woods Of my Being. Far from the city streets, Yet not from the city lights,I was. As I leaned on the window sill, And warned the Monsters of my Maze: Dazzling Death Had come to me, in search for a place to hide... And so, I had given my soul to the crumbling night, For Dazzling Death, Shone from within me since. Sunny days' dominance dwelt, My face, always radiance felt Lurking crowds I would pretend, Laughter, pleasure, bliss All were there yet amiss. Savvy, I felt the worried breeze, Pleading me to be happy... But I had vowed to Dazzling Death Together we shall be, Though my soul wanders where, I do not know, It is free without me. If the Everyday Shakespeares of Rock Like Algae, growing on my songs, Had the novelty They would say, To the woman in the mirror " ...Like a bee, she wore a sting, Happy when, Ring-a-ding! Weary eyes that gleamed on you, Like a werewolf killing through.. But when she loved, The Heavens bereaved Morons, here, there envied For she meant to be the Lady of the Night.."
