Together
Like strands of a rope we’re knotted together, our lives interwoven, inseparable and made stronger. Like links in a chain we’re connected by our experiences, our regrets and our love – past, present and future. Like spokes in a wheel we are strong and balanced when we stay tightly next to each other, share the load of our lives and help smooth out each other’s bumps along the way. Like muscles attached to bones our love works together to move us through this world’s ups and downs, highs and lows as we support and lean on one another. Like a heart shared by Siamese twins our hearts no longer beat for one, but for two, they beat in unison with neither silent at the same time, sharing their melodious song of life with each other. May God allow us to remain together in all these ways and more, now and forever. 2010
