A Rose
Wrote this poem in isolation last semester in my Creative writing Class, had a hard time coming up with this since we were limited in the use of words. A red rose in the pleasant summer garden blooms Givng sense and style to the vintage gloom A rose as beautiful as the naive Pandora Whose eyes twinkle like the stars in the book of Torah. A dewdrop in its petals; gentle and bright Stars that shimmer in the darkest night Flowers whose buds make everybody glance, A flower symbol of wedding and romance. Beauty and taste, a rose paints A color even the horoscopes' lights would seem faint A style; a muse of nature A rose; a relief from human torture. Liberty and vogue in one combined, In a rose whose beauty is tried By the coldest winter and the deadliest pest, By destiny and time's test.
