I wonder and I wonder. and I wonder and I wonder. what I could have done. What I could have done so that this never happened. so that we never fought like we did So that it never escalated to this. What I could have done to make it better so that it wouldn’t have to end this way. so that you would stay. what I could have done so that it never gave you even the slightest thought. so that you’d never ever look back to that day. the thought that made you say you no longer wanted to stay. I am so terribly sorry that I am not everything you wanted me to be. I am so sorry that it wasn’t good enough just being me. I know that I am not perfect and I have many many flaws. but I wanted to work through our differences because I believed in you and I believed in us and what we could both be. Together. But it doesn’t matter anymore. Our time is over and now I am so alone with nowhere to go. I’m left alone to pick up the pieces you left for me.
