All I Want For Christmas Is a Miracle
All I Want for Christmas is a Miracle it was late one night december twenty-third when a little boys wish was overheard she walked by his door to hear the prayer as he asked god why life wasn't fair she heard him say Iv'e been so good and asked if santa somehow could make mom healthy for christmas this year and those words kept echoing through her ear she cried herself to sleep that night knowing her cancer was winning the fight the doctors had told her her chances were slim of finding the marrow to help her win but she kept her hopes up if only to hide the pain the suffering and the turmoil inside if there was a santa she knew he'd come through if only a little boys wish would come true when christmas arrived on the eve of the day he stood by her bed and asked her to say i truly believe in good old saint nick she whispered the words then fell asleep sick that morning he awoke to a knock at the door santa was late but it was him he was sure he opened the door and took a quick glance it wasnt a sleigh but a shiny red ambulance it wasn't the fat jolly man in a sled but a man dressed in white with a cross that was red the doctor had come with news that was great they'd found her a match if it wasn't to late they loaded her up with the boy by her side rushed to the hospital and took her inside by the time it was over christmas had passed but the miracle stayed she was getting better at last she looked from her bed at his worried young brow she said that he saved her but she didn't know how he looked back up at her then smiled and said it wasn't me it's all in your head miracles are born from believing inside and when you truely believe with your heart open wide santa can give you what you want most of all for the spirit of christmas is not found at the mall By: Jeremy Siedlecki
