A Cloud of Mine
I was rushed to the hospital on a cloudy day. After twenty six hours I was moved to a peaceful area. There was no more pain, no more danger. I could hear footsteps, then, the voice of a nurse talking to me. I couldn't concentrate too much, her words were thin threads of scent floating in the semi-dark space. I could sense her coming closer to me. She was carrying something white, too white not to be noticed by my heart. All of a sudden I felt panic. I was scared. The white cloud was moving... Time stopped, sounds fading away in the motionless reality. What was that? Why was it brought to me? Are clouds rewards for good people? As I was wrapping my arms around it I noticed that my cloud had fingers, blond hair and a tiny nose. I felt that the cloud was mine and looked him in the eyes. Then, for the very first time, I saw... my Christopher and... I smiled. for Sami's contest "Heart's Warmth"
