Unwanted Child of Indulgence
The penetrating security I’ve found In our little immature relationships Never talk unless something is desired The monotonous depiction of friendship You're undesired wisdom you share without a second thought When you know nothing about me, about who I am Do not be fooled by this number, there's such much more inside One to talk, should you ever recognize where you are Surely it would destroy your umbrella and let in the rain Whatever you think you know about me Is seen through a haze of your own ignorance Dealing with who you really are This is not who I am Seen through the eyes of others God is still merely a friend You know nothing of the real world The stabbing knives you would call people The enveloping lie you would see as love Hide underneath your umbrella deep inside the closet I won't be there to walk you through this We're all taught through neglecting silence Take a breath before you step out It'll be the last one for the rest of your life Frightening rain rips through your shelter I stand outside your group of followers Look not to me for direction I am a wandering flock of one Find your own way through the enemy's playground The teacher's left a long time ago As dependent as an infant sheep You can not, you can not This is not who you are
