Who Saved Me?
Thinking nothing much at all my daughter's house my only aim rhythmic wipers sweep across clear away the blurry rain crazy traffic in all three lanes hypnotic lights dazzle bright concentration on full power hate driving on a rainy night that tune appears, that melody tears start to flow, it's nothing new depression held inside so tight till something triggers thoughts of you turn up the music, sobbing hard my will power at it's lowest ebb a constant battle since you passed can hardly see the road ahead thoughts in my head of what's the point to struggle on without you here the steering wheel I let fall free I feel so calm, I feel no fear a sudden noise I recognize my mobile phone sings out its tone I shudder with shock and look at it I see the name, say's Candy-Home brought back out of threatening thoughts my daughter's name was all it took were you with me on that night I can't believe it was just luck
