School Days
School, about which everyone has different taste For all children it is not a waste Grows up to learn, write, and play And to make statues with clay….. Days of schooling are the valuable days to remember Might be of Jan, Sept or December Where every child comes to join Forgetting that who has how much of coins Starts from the Morning Prayer And the songs which we sing Assembly ends with the lectures of principal Considered as the king… Each day comes with a bright glow We go to the school in the bus In which the driver makes the horn blow So fast the 8 periods pass away And then everyone goes their own way.. 12 years have gone and we are grown ups now We wonder how fast the years have passed We ended the last day of the school With a party blast…. Everyone had tears in eyes to leave the school, teachers and friend But each one was determined to work hard For what they had planned Promising to keep in touch; we sadly scattered But still in our hearts, the school glittered Might be one day after long time, When I meet my friends and ask; “How are you?” Who knows if they mix up the letters and say “Who are you?”
