She gives me a smile and takes hold of my hand, So this must be the joyful feeling of being a man! I embrace her in my arms and hold her close to my chest, I tell her I love you, as I fill her tears falling down from chest! For my star light I must be strong, but I can’t understand where her life went so wrong, She barely came into this world she didn’t live long! As the doctors come in and tell me to please let go, There so many things I want to tell her that you’ll never know! As I look at her mother not even a single tear has even left her face, I say to myself I wish it was her to take my little star light place. Because there’s a pain so deep that will never be erased.
