Ego
When I know my Ego self has ceased to be, and when my heart and mind have been set free. To wake and move forth throughout my day and share the miracle, you have sent my way. I take these miracles and spread them far, as I travel by plane, train, boat or car. And If I did not leave the house at all someone who had needs would come, or call The wonders of what you've shared with me are not meant to be kept hidden selfishly. I must joyously throw the Ego to the side that I might see truth with a clearer eye. For there are many out there just like me who seek this same knowledge desperately. So I ask to be busy about your work today and with your help, keep the ego far away. Lord Jesus, if you see me and find me lacking, we will know the ego is busy attacking. Touch me with your gentle love and hold me close, for now I know, of the two, I need you most.
