Used and Abused
Guilty feelings is what I’m left with, How could I? How could I be so weak? How could I be so stupid? How could I believe your lies? I should have known, You were using me… I should have been stronger I could have said NO!! Like all the other times now I’m left with doubts and insecurities… You’re gone! Heaven knows if I’ll ever see you again, me and my pipe-dreams state of mind, thought you loved me All you wanted was my body now my body might change forever… I HATE YOU! for taking my innocence away… I HATE YOU! for being the reason I’m left vulnerable, left feeling used, left feeling dirty… What will my parents say? I am only fifteen, still a child myself I’m not ready to be a mother… *This poem was inspired by the high number of Teenage Pregnancies around the world*
