The Lonely Love
pour me a cup of tea, and I'll walk with lions through flaming streets- sip wine with me, and I'll build you a castle filled with memories- dance with me across the Milky Way, and all your dreams reveal, the heartache spent on hopeless dreams that made you want for more- the laughs, the moments filled with joy that brought you to this place, cannot hide the beauty found in simple acts of faith- the gold you seek, the shining star, that burns just out of reach- will fill your cup for just one kiss, the promises now lost- the time has come, the air now clear, of moments spent in haste- I never promised you a rose garden, now fill your life with waste- the stars above revealed the truth, then danced above the truth- for one brief moment, explosive love, did fill the room with hope- and Clouds of Angels did proclaim, the future set in stone- for one brief tear, the Gods did hear, your river cry alone- "Catch Phrase" I never promised you a rose garden
