When looking up I see, My favorite friend The Willow tree, Smiling fondly down at me. I wonder what he is thinking While dropping green kisses That directly land on my body My friend has intended for me. The cool breeze from the water Dances against my skin, With soft ballerina slippers. And the constant rustle of the leaves on the trees, Is the symphony in which it performs. There is a beautiful lake That I love to look at. I watch the numerous windsurfers Gracefully gliding around While the brilliant colors on their sails Chase closely behind. As always, My mind starts to remember The turning of the seasons Will be here soon. But the lasting memory of smell’s, sights and sounds Carries me through Yet another cold winter.
