Inside My Curio
Memories that lived in drawers are now behind the doors of my unique curio, Protected and viewed from a distance are now collected inside my antique curio. Mementos from faraway lands hold my heart in my hands forever captive, Transporting me where I long to be, there tucked inside my boutique curio. Everything I want to flaunt and keep so perhaps someday I can pass on, So loved ones can remember me, if they have the key, sit inside my sleek curio. Not once did I ever travel to acquire things that I admire, with what I have now, Possessing a bit of history is a complete mystery, behind glass of my mystique curio. From China vase to blown glass and rustic old brass to Rosenthal plates, There is nothing to pawn, that is really fancy, on the shelves of my meek curio. Copyright © 2010 By Caryl S. Muzzey
