Welcome
Welcome to the world Whenever I feel like turning back I continue on I take left in 500 feet Near the whitest curb And follow through I see the brand new You and me equals me alone You and I is not quite home Trust no one there, and no one from the dome Its like the “say and do” are “no and calm” I can’t speak for you I can’t speak to you I can’t speak I can eat I can sleep I can crumble to my feet In a pile of mess and un -neat In a drum of deadbeat In a slum of red meat And I am there in the bean bag chair with messy hair and a blank stare with out a care Where have it, and I, and them all gone? Where is he, and was he then when I stood strong? Lie and shake, and ache, and quake ‘til dawn. Noise and hate, and spat, and date him wrong. In the wrong So right now I am stamping this page of white with heart of red I’m living ,living, living here ‘til I’m dead I’m messed up in the head I’m a freakin' mess for ink and lead Die the next page of white; I cry in letter form Next to the freakin' door on the floor, and I swore I would love him no more I hate him no more I love me now and I tore the pages of the past onto the floor Onto a flame And there they burned away And here I came Jess
