First Night
You gaze from across the room. Flickering lights, colours of the rainbow The smile you gave me, made me assume For the smile I gave you back was my show. Walking over to you to the music beat Heart pounding and eyes wide and glazed Getting closer to you and the empty seat My secret will be to make you amazed Cute red silky, sexy little number Poised lips so bright, supporting a straw Us together, we can make some thunder Slow dancing, we should dance some more Slowly sipping away, getting more dizzy Holding each other with such new passion Now on the champagne, oh how it’s so fizzy! Out of control, maybe we should ration? What a great night, such fun being with you We should dance again, maybe I should call? Maybe next time I see you, you’ll be wearing blue. And your brown eyes make you worth my all.
