Food For Thought
Mother nature do your worst Us humans will burst our bubble first On barren lands when we are gone A bud appears for a new belong Many scripts of the ancient past Declare famine and floods will see us cast These are scenes from long ago Penned from thoughts in writing flow If indeed it rains and rains Its happened before and no ones claimed For millions of years there has been drought and floods But no matter who lived, died in bloodied mud Deserts encroach on our continents lands Where two thirds of our surface is close at hand So much water could do so much good When we complain of droughts and the shortage of foods Conglomerate companies must have negatives thoughts Vast areas of land could be harvested if sought It beggars belief as to why its this way Why can't the scriptures of the past, change today Self destruction is the human way Whether mother nature has her say She will continue, long after we have gone Its just so sad, we can't sing the same song
