Dark Angel
Oh how, I remember your expressive eyes So youthful and full of lust So full of life And very fond of adventure Oh how, I remember your smile like welcoming arms That would greet me with the promise of never having to endure pain Because you were my heart that would never break Oh how, I remember your skin of deep colored chocolate And how, I wanted to taste the sweetness of your skin But dared not, because I knew without knowing That I wouldn’t be able to get enough of such richness Oh how, I remember the endless nights of courtship And how, it was so innocent The chemistry was so strong that it felt dangerous Dangerous to a heart afraid of falling in love Oh how, I remember your car approaching my house So that we could ride to places which were foreign to our eyes But the pleasure of discovery, very familiar to our souls And although, we have not parted Still the distance keeps us knowing our limits So deep within the crevice of my mind I know things between us, will never again, be the same When we are like time- Always, Changing
