* Friends Always
I am your friend to the end she said. No matter what happens I will always be there through the storms life brings. When your sick I will bring you soup, making sure you have everything you need until your back on your feet. You never have to worry about me not being there because we are friends always. I want us to do all the fun things we never got to do as a child but now we can. Stay up all night talking, watching movies that make us cry together you and me. We will travel to the places we have always dreamed about but never had a chance to go. You me laughing, being silly, crying, together. I am the one you can count on when things hurt your heart, when you feel you cant go on. The news came today over the telephone. It took everything I had to dial your number. I knew before I called you would be there for me to help me get through this storm I face. I dialed your number you answered I told you the dreaded news I am dying from cancer. Silence came from your end of the phone I need you to come over and sit with me I asked. You said I can't I am busy right now doing my nails when I finish I will call you and I will come over to be with you because we are friends always. She never came her always friend and died alone.
