Towards You
the seconds extend into minutes ...and minutes into hours.... ...then years have gone by and I still think of you both... ...its not lofty thoughts anymore... hoping you both are healthy still good hearted... but not dreaming of us reuniting... It's sad somewhat... ...I never meant any animosity... ...you meant to leave me in peace... I don't know and its tough to remember... ...all bitter... very little sweet... and I still allow my thought to linger around reminisces... and daydreams of what it could have meant... ...to us all... as if to reconnect would be good... I don't know... its not like it was good to be connected.... and still I love you but learning to be glad it doesn't/didn't work, and that my life, my life was never meant for love with you... towards you... ...Closure occurs when you decide on your own that the knowledge you have of the particular fading or faded situation is enough to release... ...to move on... I guess I long not to have closure....with you both...
