Keepin Time
Tell me do you know the day of the week that it is. Without looking at your watch can you tell me the time. I know your answer will be two questions. They are: what do you mean and why? So now that I got your attention. I'll try to explain it all to you. So I just need you to hear my words. For this very simple point of view. You see the day of the week it never matters. Each day and night that I spend with you. For each morning we wake in each others arms. Is a fresh day where our love is renewed. Nevermind looking down at your pretty watch. We'll take the clocks down from the wall. Each second that I spend without you. Is a moment where I can stumble and fall. We need to live life with our love bound together. Life is this journey we can't rewind. I know I'm going to love you forever. So what's the point in keeping time. Can you tell me your favorite memory. One about us you always hold near. A memory that makes you smile and laugh aloud. One which comes quickly and is crystal clear. I want you to put that memory on the back shelf. With these words I hope you don't get cross. You see I want to keep your heart full of fresh memories. The old ones are still there and won't be lost. Do you see how to answer these questions. I laugh at the day of the week, and whats the time. We need to remember how we feel whe we look at each other. When I'm lost in your eyes as you are mine.
