Dream Lover
Last breath of reality Before my dream begins A romance destined for fatality Where my heart never mends Living out a fairytale For only a quarter of each day The pleasure comes with pain But the pain never goes away. While i sleep, you remain close to me And treat me like your queen You whisper sweet nothings in my ear And keep me feeling so serene. You kiss me like im dying Like tomorrow is the end And everyday I'm lying Telling you you're just a friend You hold me in your arms so tight Promising to never let me go Holding me all through the night But morning is my foe. Waking up in disappointment I feel like the roles have changed My life seems like a nightmare The sweetest dream left my life deranged. My dreams actually seem more real; It's embarrassing just to admit Reluctantly trying to share how i feel Yet i've never felt so adamant. Dreamlover, if you knew, Youd tell me its just fine But thats not what i want from you I want your love all the time.
