The trees stand now bare before nature. As does life that awaits the warmth of spring. That frozen rain slowly turns to snow as it piles upon the inches that fell as ice. This is no normal winter storm that has us in it's grips. Lights fail as the ice break the lines that bring such to them. Bit by bit we are taken back in time to when life was much simpler than before. Until then we all wait to see how long it takes before there are signs of life again. For now that old man winter has us in his mercy.
