Caught In the Rain
At the same spot where we first met, I stand here thinking of you, love. I'm caught in the horrible rain. All of the good times fly by fast. My memories are slipping by. And now i see that time does fly. I'm still standing but soak and wet. Tears run down my face with the rain. I am still waiting on you. Even though you will not come, Because of the words spoken That ended our friendship. Now i turn cold with the rain. Waiting to see your sweet smile. I am still waiting on you. Waiting to see your face. But the dark rain hides it. Tears spring themselves downward. Man! do i love you so. But will you ever come After what I have said? Hours have passed by. Cabs have come and gone. Still I wait on you. In the dark, sad rain. Hours have passed by. Where are you, love? I'm still waiting... Have you forgot? I'm abandoned There you are. And with an Umbrella. Cover me From the Rain.
