Sundown
Crimson-orange rays clawing the sky And everything is at peace Birds pacing towards their young Wolves howling to the elegant moon Down that wooden bridge Across the black river Further into the dense And back to where I started Follow the stars The trail of magnificent light Running, breathing quicker Where to? Stand under this tree The feel of majestic spring Sound of water-drops Fragrance of blooming flowers The crave to fly With these new developed wings The urge to sing With a new melody in heart Close your eyes Listen, carefully... to the heart beat Feel the flow of blood Footsteps getting louder There she is Smiling, looking right at me Glowing extravagantly And then disappearing, at sundown Here I am… Following your stars again The trail of light And back to where I started… Down that wooden bridge Across the black river Further into the dense I will reach you, someday. 7th October 2009
