What happened to Chivalry? I believe women plotted to kill him. stabbed him in the back while he leaned over affectionately. He was merely asking for attention, showing compassion. Women weren't ready for such admiration it went to their heads and fornicated with jealousy. Still He persevered Still he hung around, Smiling in the presence of a lady Without thought. He became saddened. always expected to do, or say. assumed warranted. Stripping him of the stature of a gentleman to the stand-still of a sentry. Nowadays, he is a prisoner to women of power, who demand his presence; being told when to be himself. Waiting for the chance to be appreciated, the chance to be welcomed with shocked expressions. Just to be acknowledged, surprised by anothers actions their reciprocity. the warmth of humanity. He lays dormant in the soul of all men; who, only they, can invoke his charms. His uncanny kindness and willingness to be selfless.
