Home At the End of the Valley/After the Battle
Close your mind and I’ll guide you, and then I will delight you. Hold on to the things that feel like home. I’ll take you to the sea-side, and bring you on a new ride. For here you will never be alone. There’s magic that I’ll show you, and awe that I shall know you. That you might live in peace and rest for now. Rest in me for the time being, ‘cause tomorrow you’ll be seeing. You’ll soon see the path some way, somehow. The days to come are blinding bright, next year at the end of the fight. For there and then, you and I, we can be dancers. Take my hand and I’ll lift you, tomorrow I will miss you. There’ll come another time to take chances. Open your heart to the sun rise, and your arms to these new highs. Just let the waters take you home. Close your eyes for the last time, I’ll wait here in the meantime. To you my comfort will always be known.
