The Bengal
The Bengal By: Hobbes As silence falls upon the grasslands The bengal stalks his prey Hidden in his camo where he stands He never backs away. He uses the grass and the wind and the trees To hide his form and scent And the prey that he now sees, will not know where he went. The wind sings songs of hunts from past as the hunter takes chase And like a blur he moves so fast you'd never see his face. His prey is lost he has no clue of what is yet too come And then he jumps his aim so true and catches his prey dumb. The brothers roll and tustle strong Until their mother calls They fill the air with their playful song And neither of them falls Into the water they both dive Too cool off from the heat They're so happy to be alive And bask in natures treat. The bengal brothers play and play And never tire out In the water they love to stay And love to splash about They prance about in bliss all day Until the sun goes down Then to their mom with no delay Who greets them with a frown.
