The Sweetest Sadnes
The sweetest of the sad Lays awake wondering Where she went wrong. The Hate that lies beside her She couldn't help but love. She had to get away Yet she couldn't leave her soul behind She loved the Hate so much Where did I go wrong? She thought as a little of her drifted away slowly with every second Her heart broke with every glance, every memory Every lost chance she had to escape. She held on, believing it would get better Believing it would change.... But crystal tears cling to her face As death's call rings upon her phone The voice of an angel could be heard Sending her the message to change all She knew this could be the end or the beginning The chance to be reborn, or the chance to be killed The phone goes dead, as the sirens become alive This was her choice Her God given power to save these lives Finally, she had the power The determination But alas the fear ravaged her Could she finally allow the peace to flow Or would the Hate win once more?
