old, witherd, tired woman lay accross your bed hear the shotgun thunder fire into the sky of red the sea bellow crash on the rocks on the batterd shore line the srteets are dark,dull and mist rolling down the road well your dreamin of better days walking through summer haze you were younger then in summer rain as you pull your brim hat down to hide the lines from your face not to show your growing frown hay there mam whats your name daisy i here you say why you trying to hide away you were prety in your day young prety, restless lady ley acceoss your bed see the sunshine through your blind makin shadow on your wall the sea bellow is calm and clear and the breaze make whistle in the air the street light burn with yellow flame and the stars are high in the sky you were dreamin of days to come what will you become youll be older then in summer rain as you hold your brim hat high you see a boy who asks your name then slowly walks on by excuse me mam but whats your name dasiy you reply he said you look like winter sun poring from the sky
