Three Slaves
There was a king from old Had a statue of him made of gold Required his kingdom to worship him Everytime sound of horn, pipe, or singing hymns There were three Hebrew slaves Devout in their faith and praise Would not their God disgrace By falling down and worship his face Even though he had given them reign Sharing in his kingdom plane The punishment for disobeying Was placing in a furnace hotly heated There was no way they would Worship him, they knew their God Would totally protect them Save them from the heated fire If not they would join the heavenly choir The king ordered the flame made hotter still Men died obeying the king's will They died from the flames boiling rage Inside the heated furnace Seven times hotter in this cage There were three Hebrew slaves Walking around Hands and feet totally unbound Joining them in the heat Was an angel oh so neat The king shouted who joins them It looks like an angel Or the maybe God Inside the furnace facing Flames Glorifing prasing name They walked and talked inside The firey pit His words did sit In their heart strenghting When they were removed from the fire Not a hair had been singed Their clothes free not smelly smoke Only thing gone was the rope (This is the story of three Hebrew Slaves:Hananiah(Shadrack),Mishael(Meshack), and Azariah (Abednego). God gave them knowledge and learning. Loosely interpertated from the book of Daniel in the "Bible".)
