F O O T S T E P S
A murder? In my town? Is it safe to be around? Am i paranoid? Is someone following me? Footsteps behind me, how could this be? Watching my front, but whos got my back? Am i strong enough to survive an attack? Eyes wide open, searching for clues. Shadows lurking in black and dark blues. Screaming is an option, but what if no sound appears? My mind will suffocate, with all my deepest fears. Nightmares every night, scared to close my eyes. What if no one is around to hear my shallow cries? Scared to run outside, even if i'm not alone. Watching for people just here to "roam". Frightened to fall asleep, and wake up dead. Terrorfied to never see my family and friends again. I love all of you. My poem is through.
