Word On Treatise
i thank all for the warm welcome i have recieved here at poetry soup. orphaniis of course an alter ego, through which i express my views . writing poetry exposes us and makes us vulnerable to the pain of rejection ,and disapointment i cannot be rejected becouse i am always excepted by my God whom i searve. i cannot be dissapointed because my expectation is to subject my work to your scrutiny for the purpose of becoming a better poet-( i am secure an my assesments.) I dident come to strut out a piece of work so you can explain to me how wonderful i am.i don't need or want that crap. What i want is heart felt critsism and open disscusionon on the honest merits of the work.i promise to give the same.i will not critique haiku on religious grounds.nor any work that is morally objectionable. orphani like all true poets, does not fit in well-- he is an obscurity, and oddity ill at ease in this world, and he sees, as all poets ,through the eye of a stranger ,a wanderer far from his true home and from the things he loves most--he questions and observes life he touches he tastehe smells, and feels all and is in all keanly. i am any persons equal and i will engage them as such. i love poetry, and you my poetry friends ,and hope to have a lot of fun ,and maby learn enoughto be a better poet in the end Forgive this long winded intro. but i think it helps to rake the leaves before you plant the flowers. love you all o
